The Demonstrations

What to expect

Demonstrations are run in a relaxed and friendly way with the opportunity to ask lots of questions and plenty of time for tasting. Top tips are given on preparing ahead, freezing and sourcing ingredients.

I’ll be welcoming you from 10.00am with fresh coffee and a slice of homemade cake, giving everyone a chance to settle in and have a chat before we begin promptly at 10.30am.

The morning will be relaxed and informal, with me guiding you through each of the recipes step by step. You’ll have a printed copy in front of you to follow along and make your own notes, while I demonstrate everything in the kitchen, sharing tips, techniques and little secrets along the way.

There will be plenty of opportunities to taste each of the dishes as we go — so do come with an appetite, as you certainly won’t need lunch afterwards! At the end of the session, you’ll head home with a beautifully prepared booklet containing all of the recipes from the morning, so you can recreate them in your own kitchen.

There’s no need to bring anything other than yourself — pens will be provided for jotting down any extra notes or inspiration. I expect to finish around 1.00–1.15pm, leaving you with a full morning of ideas, flavours and enjoyment.

There will also be a small selection of handpicked kitchen essentials available to purchase on the day — lovely, practical pieces that make ideal gifts. Happy to accept card payments, cash or bank transfer.

Private and Aga Demonstrations

Enjoy a wonderful cookery experience either in your own home or at my beautiful home near Stockbridge. Gather 12–20 friends for a relaxed, fully catered demonstration on your cooker or Aga from £70 per person, with your chosen menu, all ingredients, preparation and recipes included — or opt for an intimate two-hour hands-on lesson for up to five guests at £100 per person. Charity events can be tailored to suit your fundraising goals, and gift vouchers are also available, valid for a full year — the perfect present for any food lover.
