Eat Summer Properly

Salads. Smoke. Seriously Good Flavour.

Join me for a relaxed, flavour-packed summer cookery demonstration celebrating everything we love about cooking and eating at this time of year. This is all about fresh, seasonal ingredients, vibrant salads, confident dressings and BBQ-friendly dishes that are designed for sharing.

Over the course of a couple of hours, I’ll demonstrate seven carefully chosen recipes, showing you how to build flavour, balance textures and make the most of what’s in season — without overcomplicating things. You’ll pick up plenty of practical tips, adaptable ideas and clever shortcuts you can take straight back to your own kitchen.

And, of course, this isn’t just about watching. Everyone gets to taste everything â€” generous portions, plenty to go around, and time to enjoy the recipes together as we go. Expect relaxed conversation, useful inspiration and food that feels joyful, summery and achievable.

Perfect if you love to cook, love to eat, or simply want fresh ideas for effortless summer entertaining.

From Stockbridge travelling in Salisbury direction

Go to the end of the high street and just over the bridge turn left signed Houghton (just after big white house on left – you have gone too far if you go up the hill)

Go down this road for approx. 2 miles where you will come to a sharp S bend

Continue on past the pub on the left (The Boot) and war memorial on right and on for ½ mile until you get to three small bends in the road

The road then straightens out and we are the cream house with green/grey windows on the left with big wooden gates. Please park in the driveway or follow overflow-parking signs. You have gone too far if you reach the T-junction.
