Gift vouchers

Thank you for buying a gift voucher. Here is how they work.

What the voucher is for

A gift voucher entitles the holder to a place at one of our cookery demonstrations. Vouchers are sold per place — a voucher for two places covers two people at the same demonstration.

The voucher covers the price of the demonstration on the day it is redeemed. If our prices have gone up since it was bought, the voucher still covers a place in full. There is nothing extra to pay.

Using a voucher

Choose a date from our website and enter the voucher code when you book. Places are limited and subject to availability, so we would encourage you to book early, particularly for demonstrations close to Christmas.

Each voucher can be used once, for a single booking. If the demonstration you choose costs less than the amount paid for the voucher, we are not able to refund the difference or issue a replacement voucher for the balance.

Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be used in part.

How long a voucher lasts

Vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase. The expiry date is shown on the voucher email.

We are not able to extend a voucher once it has expired, so please do use it in good time. If your voucher is close to expiring and you are having trouble finding a date that suits, do get in touch before it runs out and we will do what we can.

Looking after the code

The code on the voucher email is the voucher. Please keep the email safe, and take care who you forward it to — anyone holding the code can use it.

If you lose the email, contact us with the name and email address used to buy it and we will do our best to find it for you.

Changing your mind

If you have bought a voucher and change your mind, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it in full, provided it has not already been used to book a place.

If we cancel a demonstration

If we have to cancel a demonstration you have booked using a voucher, your voucher will be reinstated and you are welcome to book another date. If your voucher would expire before you can rebook, we will extend it.

If you cancel a booking

If you cancel a booking made with a voucher, the voucher is reinstated with its original expiry date, so you can use it for another demonstration. Please see our booking terms for how much notice we need.
